Great Introductory Text This is an excellent book for an introduction to the Systematic approach to Theology. Thorsen does an excellent job at presenting view points from many denominational backgrounds and presenting both Eastern and Western views of Christianity. If you are looking for a book to explore the various beliefs of Christianity, this is a great start. That said, I wouldn’t get it as a book to justify your own beliefs as Thorsen present’s many different viewpoints.

Amazing Book! This is my third purchase of this book. I gave the other two away. My brother is a college philosophy professor teaching theology, ethcs, pholosophy, etc. He recommended this book a couple of years ago to help me understand and teach systematic theology to high school seniors at my church. Wow, this is the best unbiased literature I have found that helps me uderstand all sides of deep theological Christian issues.
